Tendon injury: If you are able to move your leg forward and back with minimal pain, and are able to stand and walk on it with minimal pain, I would treat this with rest and ice packs. Inflammation due to the blow can cause swelling and make it feel like there is tension on the muscle. If you develop significant pain that interferes with walking and standing, see a Dr.
