Dr. Lisa Rankin answered

Specializes in ADHD and Autism

Likely no different: What will likely happen is that most with asperger's syndrome will be reclassified as autism spectrum disorder and hopefully most services will remain intact. It has always been somewhat diffficut for some with aspergers to get help if they are doing well academically and mainly have social difficulties. Schools base services on function in school and social difficulties often ignored.
