Spotting/BCP's ?: Spotting on oral BCP therapy is usually caused by not taking the active pills within the hour of the previous day's active pill. The low hormonal content of oral PCP's used currently can cause "withdrawal bleeding" if punctuality is not maintained. Pregnancy is unlikely. Stop the pill now, wait five days and start a new pack. If spotting continues, see your gyn physician for an exam.
