Elevated PSA: Not much can be speculated regarding an abnormal test result in the absence of clinical context and dynamics. He definitely needs follow up with the doc who ordered the test in order to discuss what is next. If no doc involved so far, he should start with his GP.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it depends on what symptoms he has. If he has urinary symptoms he should see a urologist. Wish you good health!
