A normal person would not be taking it twice in a month... but maybe once every 5 or 10 YEARS for emergencies. One should avoid sexual contact until a primary form of birth control is begun. One may call her Ob-Gyn doctor now, to ask about IUD's which work as both emergency and ongoing contraception.
