Bacterial Vaginosis: Discharge and odor usually mean bacterial overgrowth that need to be examined under a microscope and treated appropriately with antibiotics. Itching without discharge and odor usually means yeast infection with no bacteria present that needs to be treated with an antifungal, like diflucan (fluconazole).
