Genital warts is STI: Genital Warts or HPV is an STI. It can be transmitted to your sexual partner, and can infect a baby at birth. There are specific treatments your DR can perform in their office to remove the warts via cryotherapy (freezing), Topical Chemical application, Leep (electrocautery) or other methods. Removal of warts can reduce the risk of transmitting them to your baby. Talk to your OB/Gyn Dr.
