Reinfection: Salmonella is an infection that does not produce immunity meaning it can be acquired again and again. It must be treated every time so that the bacteria will not cause worsening problems in the body. It is likely that you are reinfected and will need another course of antibiotics. See your Dr for lab tests, stool culture and a prescription.
