Any : After a hip replacement surgery, patients will need to maintain their legs elevated for the first 4-6 weeks. Any recliner that has a lower leg rest that lifts up and arm rests is appropriate for this process. Depending on your father's health, it may be useful to get a chair that gives him help in standing up also. Additional equipment such as elevated toilet seat, shower seat, grab bars may help.
