A member asked:

Is it normal for a 1year 0ld child not to eat solids? instead he gauge an vomit sometimes spite the food

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, it is not.: It is good and healthy to breastfeed during all the first year, but it is recommended to compliment with some solids after 6th month. Physiologically a 1 year old child should be able to eat some small and soft solids. Vomit is never normal at this age and it is important to ask for a medical consultation as soon as possible and determine cause and nutritional status.
