Burning: I have seen these symptoms in peripheral neuropathy and also caused by a disc bulging in the lower spine. A neurologist is best to perform a workup. Appropriate testing will be done and will probably include blood sugar and vitamin B12 level, EMG with or without an MRI of the lower spine depending upon the neurologist's assessment.
