I'd like to know what the standard thickness of a mri slice is so that no tiny lesion can have been missed on my mri. my mri was 1'5t, flair, t1 and t2, there were 80 images and "se", 3, 4, 5, 6,7 and" ima" 1, 2, 3, 4.. 40 images from "above" thanku ?

MRI: MRI slices are standardly 5mm. However, on a 3D MRI the slices can be directed to less than 1mm.
