Today i have been feeling my heart beat through my right eye. kind of on the lower lid. i could even see it twitch in the mirror when i focused on it. it didnt hurt and there was no blurred vision. just annoying. any ideas?? feeling anxious:/

Possibly myokymia: Random twitching of an eyelid, which happens in normal people, is called myokymia (an involuntary, spontaneous, quivering of a few muscle cell bundles within a muscle). Myokymia starts and stops spontaneously. In the eyelids it can last a few minutes to a few days. One should see an ENT doctor and ophthalmologist (eye doctor) if such symptoms persist, keep recurring, or are worrisome.
