Reduce the dose: The symptoms you are reporting could mean that your atenolol dose is higher than what you can tolerate. Discuss with your doctor to see if you can reduce it to 12.5mg. If your symptoms persist you may need a change of beta blocker to try something else

Although 25 mgm: is a low dose of the BETA BLOCKER atenolol , thus UNLIKELY it is causing the symptomatology you describe, I would suggest that it might be worthwhile to contact your prescribing Healthcare Provider and ask if another beta blocker may be substituted....just a thought! Dr Z
