A member asked:

I have shortness of breath is it because i have asthma and i work at a hospital?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nonspecific symptom: Asthma manifests it self by wheezing and/or persistent dry cough as well as shortness of breath. A physician would have to take a history, examine you in order to make a diagnosis, advise and treat you. Associated fever, sore throat would raise concerns about covid if you've been in a hospital where exposure could have occurred. Notify your MD and get instructions about exam, testing and treatment.
