Maybe: At 3 weeks of pregnancy, the fertilized egg implants (burrows into) the uterine lining. This can cause light bleeding or spotting. If there is heavy bleeding, you are most likely experiencing a miscarriage. A dr can use a vaginal ultrasound to detect a viable baby by 5 weeks/ heartbeat by 5-6 weeks. Talk to your dr about your symptoms.
