How do you get a temp to go down?

Fever: Common fever reducers are Acetaminophen and ibuprofen. Tepid baths don't provide much greater value over those medicines. But it's really about getting at the cause of the fever - is there a bacterial infection that needs to be treated? If it's a viral gastroenteritis (or stomach bug), the fever usually just runs it course. Hope this helps.
