Treat the disease: Are you on medication that treats the underlying problem? Have you seen a rheum and discussed that with him or her. Opioids are not the best pain medications for an inflammatory disease process.

Indocin (indomethacin): Indocin (indomethacin) is the best to rx as. Has lots of side effects but if u r able. 2 tol nothing is better. U need high doses but is the best! check with ur pcp 2 b sure u r able 2 take it.
