Don't give up: Nasal passages and sinus cavities can become filled with fluid and cause sinus pressure headaches. Saline nasal washes work by washing out particulates, bacteria etc from the nasal passages/ sinus areas. It is important not to give up the saline washes because of the headache. Try a nasal decongestant to relieve the pressure. Once the inflammation goes down, the nasal washes will keep you healthy
