A member asked:

Tongue lesions for 3+ months, heal somewhat only to get worse again. at times surrounded by white. individual taste buds seem swollen often. there is a ridge at the tip of my tongue. lacy red color under skin mainly stomach which comes and goes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several causes: Tongue lesions can be due to fungal/yeast infections, vitamin deficiencies, underlying disease, medications, allergies. Might be best to see Dr in person or on video, may need some basic lab work. If your diet has not been balanced, taking a good multiple vitamin could help (try for a full month), plus eating a balanced diet including fruits & vegetables, whole grains, dairy, & proteins
