Sometimes when i try to clear my throught there's small white/yellow particles that look like oats and i dont even eat oats so not sure what these are?

Probably benign: This sounds like tonsil "stones" in which case they are totally benign. You can look this up on Google and learn a lot. If you have a sore throat (recurrent), swelling in your tonsillar area or neck or a fever you may need to see a doctor. A clue: you described what they look like; what do they smell like? Tonsil stones smell TERRIBLE and can be a cause of bad breath.
