Ive been coughing for approx. 2.5months, it started after a cold( influenza(-), clear chest x-ray). ive been taking antihistamines and it helps a little. but the cough doesnt go away and i suspect it could ben cough variant asthma.how can i know?

Pulmonology: Please see a pulmonary specialist for pulmonary function testing. Your chronic cough should also be evaluated with a chest radiograph to determine if there is chronic lung disease. Avoid smoke, dust, animal dander, pollen and other environmental triggers. Continue your antihistamine until seen by your PCP and Pulmonologist.
