Not necessarily : At this point our knowledge is limited with regard to chronic or long term side effects of coronavirus infections. While the majority of cases experiencing mild to no symptoms are not expected to suffer long term side effects, the patients experiencing severe cases may be left with damage on their lungs and/or heart. Time only and surveillance will clarify.
