Try it.: Try those measures & see. Also try an over the counter antihistamine like Loratidine once to see if it helps. If it helps, continue it. Stop it if it does not. Also avoid all fragrances & aerosols which are eye irritants. Stop scented soaps, detergents, deodorants, all fabric softeners, candles etc. See an eye doctor as soon as possible to be sure there is nothing else going on. Less screen time!

Blur etc.: This is probably due to dry eye problem. Use non preserved lubricating drops 4x/day and a gel drop at bedtime.This should help. After close vision use for 30 or more minutes the blink reflex is reduced 60% and contributes to dryness. Take a break after 30 minutes of reading,computer use etc. I’m not sure blue light is a major contributor.
