Examination: Your ear needs to be examined for fluid, the condition of the tympanic membrane (eardrum), foreign body, or infection. You may have fluid in the middle ear (on the inside of the eardrum) which is non-infected, called serous Otis media. If so, it will get better on its own but you'll have to wait it out.
