Remove it: Piercings that become infected may heal naturally if you remove the foreign object. Cleaning the area with peroxide and drying it with a combination of rubbing alcohol & a hair dryer may allow it to self heal.The area should be kept dry, open to the air & monitored frequently. If the skin surrounding it becomes swollen or has increased redness or drainage see your doc.
