I went to hospital last monday for pain in neck and shoulder said it was cervical radiculopathy they gave meds but pain is worse under shoulder blade and right arm?

It happens: A radiculopathy is just a generic label for irritation of a nerve root/nerve distribution often after something as simple as a cold. Antibodies to that virus mistakenly attack a nerve thinking they are getting rid of the virus.They do so until they die off over time. You may experience pain initially & transient weakness in that arm. Your regular doc can do follow up. Oral steroids can help.
