It happens: A radiculopathy is just a generic label for irritation of a nerve root/nerve distribution often after something as simple as a cold. Antibodies to that virus mistakenly attack a nerve thinking they are getting rid of the virus.They do so until they die off over time. You may experience pain initially & transient weakness in that arm. Your regular doc can do follow up. Oral steroids can help.
