It depends: You can be asymptomatic when you get Covid-19, meaning you do not come up with any symptoms, or you can be symptomatic such as having fever or cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath, or any combination of these symptoms. It can be not bad enough to be treated in the hospital but it can become bad enough that you need inpatient treatment. Trouble to breathe brings people to hospital.
