Different problems: A G6PD test is a simple blood test. The result gives a percentage. Example: 20% would mean a person has only 20% of the G6PD that an average normal person has. Deficiency of G6PD is unrelated to whether a person can eat gluten. Having G6PD deficiency does not mean a person will be allergic to wheat or will be intolerant of gluten. G6PD people eat gluten unless they have a separate gluten problem.
