Are there any malaria medications that can be taken and considered safe for g6pd deficient patients?

G6PD: There is a theory that the disease itself is protective against malaria. The theory however, is unproven. Most anti-malarials will cause hemolytic anemia so it is important to discuss the problem with your doctor
