Probably normal: Most women will have an irregular cycle from time to time. I would watch and see if over the next 2 or 3 cycle this resolves itself. If not you might need and exam. Things like uterine or cervical polyps, endometrial hyperplasia (thickening) and others can be associated with passing clots.
