Challenging problem : Back pain is a common problem in pregnancy for obvious reasons. Acetaminophen is a safe medication. Otherwise, Safe options would include physical therapy or chiropractic care. They could also show you some stretching exercises to do to help you remain as comfortable as possible until the baby comes.

Sciatica: Sciatica in pregnancy can happen especially if you already have a disc and this is due to all the tissues swelling up in preparation for the delivery. If the sciatica is disabling you could get an epidural steroid injection at that site to try to decrease the irritation around the nerve.
