You do not: Unfortunately, without a test it is only time and new symptoms that will offer clinical hints about the cause of the symptoms. Of course, possible exposure may also contribute to delineating a cause. Bottom line is, coronavirus cannot be ruled out, specifically during the pandemic, but other causes such as strep throat are still possible.
