Our pet cat gave my wife a live bite on her wrist this morning and now her wrist is stiff, and to bend it hurts. she has a headache and feels a bit out of sorts and maybe nauseous?

See Dr: Cat bites can cause serious infections because it is similar to a puncture wound as opposed to a cut. It is difficulty to wash out the bite with soap and water/disinfectants, so they often get infected. See a dr as soon as possible.The sooner antibiotic treatment can begin the better. Also need to make sure tetanus vaccination is up to date!
