When should i be tested for covid-19?

Depends: If you have symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath or have had contact with someone with known Covid you should be tested. However, if there is little availability of testing in your community, you can wait. Your doctor can decide if testing is needed.

COVID 19 Testing: The CDC has provided guidelines for COVID 19 testing at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/hcp/clinical-criteria.html. However, state & local health departments/ providers make actual testing decisions. People should call their health care provider if they believe they should be tested.
