Likely not : I don’t think there is any clear evidence that having had a flu shot makes a difference in COVID symptoms, though it is possible. There may be other factors like generally good health, not smoking, not having diabetes or heart or lung disease, that would be more likely to lead to mild COVID symptoms

No - BUT: The influenza vaccine is important. If you don't get influenza then you won't confuse influenza symptoms for COVID symptoms. Additionally, it would be a real bummer to have both influenza and COVID 19 at the same time.
