Are you more likely to get covid-19 if you have previously had pneumonia?

Pneumonia and COVID: The chances of getting COVID do increase after having pneumonia, this is because your lungs are not at it's best. But if you do not smoke, and have a healthy lifestyle you shouldn't worry.

COVID 19: If you have pneumonia or are just recovering from pneumonia, the COVID 19 virus would be attacking cells aren't healthy. If you previously had pneumonia - has there been complete recovery or is there residual damage?. Chronic pulmonary diseases can put one at risk for increased severity of illness. But it doesn't mean you are or are not more apt to become infected.
