A month: Much of the response will depend on how easy it is for you to get refills & whether insurers are covering part or all of the cost. Some states allow a refill of several months on chronic medications at one time & insurers even promote this. If you pay out of pocket & can get a refill on the same day it may be fine to have less on hand. Trouble with refills (mail in/lock downs/weather/etc.) = more
