Many causes: Babies get rashes of many kinds. Viruses can cause rashes but usually baby will have fever, congestion, cough, poor appetite, or fussiness if serious. Heat can cause rashes (too much covering or hot air temperatures) . Change in soaps or detergents can cause rashes, as well as new exposures to pets or chemicals.
