Heartburn daily: There is concern about taking those medications long-term. Have you tried avoiding alcohol, caffeine,nicotine, greasy and spicy foods, aspirin, and medications like ibuprofen or naproxen? A different class of medications for reflux would be famotidine or carafate which are probably safer for chronic use. Perhaps you should consult a gastroenterologist for evaluation and advice.

“Heart burn”: I’m not familiar with that combination Rx. With daily heart burn or for that matter any chest pain, I’d advise visiting your physician or a good internist. Note a current warning for Zantac and it’s generic option due to a contaminant.
