At risk: The CDC has identified patients with Diabetes as being at risk for more severe forms of COVID 19. The recommendations are to self isolate, wash your hands frequently and contact your doctor if you have fever, cough, shortness of breath or chest pain.

Not necessarily: You are at increased risk of more serious disease with your diabetes, but everyone is different and it does not necessarily mean you would need to be hospitalized. You are also at increased risk of complications from influenza and other infections. Take the necessary precautions during this time: limit exposure, social distance, wash hands, eat healthy, drink plenty of water, get exercise. Pray
