I have type 1 diabetes but moderately controlled. i'm also a senior citizen. the coronavirus is a definite death sentence. when i go out shopping i wear a mask, gloves and keep my distance. what else can i do?

Avoid being negative: Even as a senior with health issues this is not an automatic death sentence. Worrying about it does diminish your immune response, so it would be good to let go of that. I would NOT wear gloves, they act like magnets to germs on their outer surface. Mask up when you go out, wash or sanitize hands frequently, avoid sick people & live as well as you can.
