COVID-19: Although diabetes is one of the risk factors for complications due to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus infection), you probably are at little or no increased risk if your diabetes is in good control. And the death rate remains very low in people your age. Take all the well-publicized precautions to reduce your risk of exposure and infection, but this should not be a serious worry for you.
