Yes flu shot: The flu shot is even more important this year than before. The vaccine is usually a dead virus that cannot infect the person it is given to. There may be symptoms similar to the flu (fever primarily) for 24 hours after the shot but that is due to your body building immunity. It's important to be vaccinated this year because having the flu makes you more susceptible to infection with other disease
