Haven't heard that: The standard menstrual cycle length is 28 days. That probably means billions of women have gotten pregnant with 28-day cycles. There are 13 of these 28-day cycles each year, if a woman is regular. So, that's 13 eggs in January through December. Sounds like pretty good odds.
