Can call Dr on video: A person with signs of angular cheilitis can be checked by a doctor to see if there is lip eczema, an oral herpes problem, or signs of vitamin deficiency. Angular cheilitis is the cracking at the corners of the mouth, with some inflammation and probably some candidal yeast overgrowth. Some people use a little bit of clotrimazole antifungal cream and hydrocortisone cream for a week to help it.
