May be melatonin: There is no evidence that the generic Crestor (rosuvastatin) causes diarrhea. However, there are some reports of diarrhea associated with melatonin during the first few days of treatment. It is reported that diarrhea may go away after a few days. If it continues and becomes unmanageable or bothersome, it is advisable to speak to your doctor to discuss alternatives to melatonin.
