Are 10mg of melatonin nightly a bad thing? i've been taking 5mg time released for 6 months now and they aren't working as good but more seems to help.

It is good idea: Try to use quick-release melatonin, may be more effective according to research. However, good sleeping habits and sleep hygiene are essential: 1.Maintaining a regular wake-up time 2.Avoiding excessive time in bed 3.Avoiding naps except if working in shifts 4.Avoiding nicotine, caffeine and alcohol 5.Exercising regularly early in the day 6.Doing something relaxing before bedtime.
