No. It is not... yet: That new is based in a paper (https://journals.plos.org/plospathogens/article?id=10.1371/journal.ppat.1006140) which says that inhibition of leukotrienes (which Singulair-Montelukast inhibits) in mice, not humans, had a protection effect against death caused by Influenza A virus pneumonia. Further research is needed to ensure that this works for influenza, and even more for SARS-CoV-2.
