COVID: COVID-19 is a viral infection, can induce inflammation and destruction of the cells, rather than allergic reactions. Common symptoms are fever, cough (deep) and shortness of breath. Mild COVID infection could just have runny nose, sore throat, but seasonal allergy presents more of signs of allergy (itchiness, etc), rather than infection signs (fever, etc).
